8mm thick, lightweight kernmantle style rope leash coupled with a 360 degree swivel carabiner made from aviation grade aluminum. Each rope end is protected by a two layer hard casing; the inner layer is hard plastic secured in place and the outer layer is rubber. Outback Hound leashes are built tough to last. Over time and wear, your leash will feel softer to the touch but maintain its strength.
